At Woodthorpe Church of England Primary School, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment that values the unique strengths and needs of every child. Woodthorpe values all pupils and celebrates diversity of experience, interest and achievement. Our belief is that all pupils deserve to experience success, confidence and the most fulfilled start to their education journey, which we are proud to provide. Identification of SEND at Woodthorpe Church of England Primary School
Woodthorpe recognises that early identification and effective provision improves long-term outcomes for pupils, which is our priority. As part of the overall approach to monitoring the progress and development of all pupils, we have a clear approach to identifying and responding to SEND as outlined in the school’s SEN Information Report. We use the 'Graduated Response' with pupils, whereby we assess the level of need that may be present and respond appropriately.
