Learning a foreign language provides a valuable educational, social and cultural experience in preparation for future life.

At Woodthorpe Church of England Primary School, we teach French to children in KS2.

We use quality resources from CGP+, which offers progressive skills, building on previous lessons in a fun and enjoyable way. Children are encouraged to speak in French, asking questions and answering appropriately along with written work, identifying similarities to English.
